Exactly what scares me, i want BD to exceed Intel, but if it does, will AMD go balls to the wall profits ? or will they do the unthinkable and say: " here's 30% (hypothetical)more performance than the competitor at half the price". Proc prices are climbing again and if AMD is no longer the clear underdog, will the price/performance mantra go away ?
I mean, I want an architecture that exceeds intel offerings, but I can't afford a $500+ processor. Wait and see I guess....
