I thought you'd be running much lower during regular use. Might be due to your graphics cards heating up the inside of the case.

yes both have open cooler, so it could be contributing factor. on the other hand my case has impressive cooling system

How well did you seal the heatsink to the chip?

I think well. on the other hand It was the first time I installed an aftermarket cooler, therefore there is som probability, that I did smth wrong, like applying the termo paste.


I have an idea. next time I play BFBC2 i disable crossfire and see how it impacts the temp

Doesn't talk too much and gets to the point.

Check to make sure your CPU fan isn't blowing air in the wrong direction, you want your air flow not to push against each other preferably. Helps that the fan isn't installed backwards on the heatsink.

I mean overall it's nothing to worry about. Temps are fine most likely, I just worry too much.

i installed it longitudinally because of large exaust fans on the top

so that was it. with disabled crossfire the temp was oscillating around 52°, with spikes to 59 during loading new maps

if it was so important to keep temps as low as possible, I could do without CF in this game

75 is fine. No need to.
