Im building my new rig in like 2 weeks. Will this be out by then? And will the Danger Den water block be out as well? God I hope so...

I had $500 on my build I wasnt sure where to spend (have to spent all of a certain amount on the actual machine, its not my cash).

Looks like you would have to go for HD 5870 CrossFire.

And it looks like AMD can wait a bit longer to decide its move, considering NVIDIA can only show a real Fermi card in trade shows early next year...

You may as well consider this Q4 2009 promise of Radeon HD 5900 series launch to be "Holiday seasons 2009".

Guys I just talked to a friend that works in the sales department of a large wholesale company here in europe.

I won't be more specific than europe because I dont want him to get in trouble but he mailed me today and said that unofficially the card is being released on november the 16th.

If that's when the wholesale company gets the cards or if its when they ship it out to retailers he didn't say.

Way cool! I won't be buying one, but can't wait to see it! Especially if it comes out well before Nvidia's new card, it's going to be a serious pain in Jen Hsun's .......er, side.
