Nvidia is about to announce their N1x/Spark consumer devices, but when exactly? Since you asked so nicely, SemiAccurate will tell you the details.
A little history about this debacle some are calling a CPU. If you recall, no less then Jensen himself said this chip is in full production. That was in June. Of 2024. Sure there was a handful of workstation-ish parts that came out about a year ago, and after extensive patching they were finally made stable, but SemiAccurate’s sources say those patches only hide unfixable problems, most of which we exclusively documented and are linked in the story above.
At Computex 2026, that same CEO said that the devices were launched. SemiAccurate said Q4. As of this writing it is now day two of Q4 and no parts are on sale so it seems one of us was correct. Again. That said they should be launching in Q4 but we hear quantities are PR stunt level, look for the same instant sell out that will be blamed on unreasonably high demand not unreasonably low release quantities. Same old same old.
So when does the press get the brief, when are the embargo lifts, and when will it go on sale? I am glad you asked.
