What silicon is in the new Sony Handheld?

Opinion: Strong rumors from months ago

Sony Playstation LogoSony is teasing a Playstation handheld, but who is doing the silicon? Weeks before the leak, SemiAccurate was given a name and a description of the device.

As a disclosure, this isn’t a hard confirmed chip, just that we heard that Sony was launching a device to play PS5 games remotely about two months ago. The source said that the device would use a specific chip and the PS6 would use a different specific chip. Checks on the latter turned out to be false but the device turned out to be real enough so… This is the long way of saying the source has a 50-50 track record with a third data point that could go either way.

With that long winded preamble, what silicon do we hear is in this device?
